To connect your domain to Joomag's servers, set up DNS A records pointing to Joomag's IP address on your domain registrar's website.
In most cases, create one entry without www and another with www so your site resolves either way.
Example One:
Name | TTL | TypeAddress |
@ | 3600A | 23.105.161.227 |
www | 3600A | 23.105.161.227 |
Example Two:
Name | TTL | TypeAddress |
yourdomain.com | 3600A | 23.105.161.227 |
3600A | 23.105.161.227 |
For a subdomain, use a CNAME record pointing to domains.joomag.com:
Name | TTL | TypeAddress |
magazine.yourdomain.com | 3600A | domains.joomag.com |
Create entries to match existing ones in your DNS, and edit rather than duplicate if an entry already exists. Substitute your actual domain where it says yourdomain.com.
Find step-by-step guides for your registrar: GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hover, eNom, Network Solutions, IWantMyName, 101domain, Dotster, Dynadot, Register.com, easyDNS, WordPress, 1&1, Yahoo or Aabaco, Name.com.
Once DNS is set up, connect your domain to your Joomag account.
