Enable/disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

How to enable or disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Joomag account using Google Authenticator.

Written by David Aslanyan

You can enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) directly from your Account settings.

Enable 2FA

  1. Go to Account settings in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Turn on. You will be redirected to a page with a QR code.

  3. Download the free Google Authenticator app, tap Add, and scan the QR code. Enter the confirmation code generated by the app.

  4. Click Verify.

✅ Save the backup codes Joomag provides. If you lose your device, you'll need a backup code to recover access. Print them and keep them somewhere safe.

Disable 2FA

  1. Click Turn off in Account settings.

  2. Enter a verification code from Google Authenticator or a backup code, then click Turn off.

Any unused backup codes are deleted when 2FA is disabled. You will need to reconfigure Google Authenticator if you enable 2FA again.
