This campaign option enables you to send out subscriptions for free. Readers will receive the subscriptions directly in their inboxes and can open both current and upcoming publications for the specified period.
Make sure you have set up either paid subscriptions or a free subscription so that you can send them for free with the Complimentary Subscription Campaign.
1. Click the Email Marketing button on the left sidebar.
2. Click the New Campaign button.
3. Click the Complimentary Subscription button.
4. Enter all the required information:
Name: Internal campaign name, visible only to you.
Publication: Select the collection to deliver a free subscription for.
Subscription package: Select the package to send for free.
Mail subject: The first thing the recipient sees.
From name: Let subscribers know who sent the email.
Reply-to email: Replies go to this address.
Send to: Select lists and/or contacts. Learn more about creating a contact list.
Don't send to: Select lists and/or contacts to exclude.
5. Click the Preview button.
6. Check everything and click the Start button.
7. Confirm that you want to start the campaign in the pop-up.
The campaign will process and deliver all messages within about 10 seconds.
