Manually wrap text around an image so it follows the image's shape, with separate steps for images on the left or right.

Written by David Aslanyan

You can wrap text around an image manually so the text follows the shape of the image. The steps differ depending on which side the image is on.

If the image is on the left side of the text

  1. Find the line you want to wrap, place your cursor at the end of the previous line, then press Enter.

  2. Press the spacebar to move the text where you want it. Press Backspace (Mac: Delete) to move it back.

If the image is on the right side of the text

  1. Click after the word you want to wrap, then press Enter.

  2. Repeat for each following line.
