In viewer mode, you can navigate through a publication in the following ways.
Arrow keys
Use arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate:
Left arrow — previous page
Right arrow — next page
Up arrow — first page
Down arrow — last page
Page arrows
The arrows on the left and right sides of the publication move to the previous or next page.
Page Overview
Use the Page Overview to jump directly to any page:
Click the Contents icon on the left sidebar.
Browse the page thumbnails and click the one you need.
Note: If the Contents icon is not visible, the publisher has disabled this feature.
You can also click Show Pages to display page thumbnails in a panel. Click a page to navigate to it. Click Hide Pages to close the panel.
The Progress Bar
The progress bar at the bottom highlights pages you have already viewed. The current page is shown with a more prominent highlight.
If you click an internal hyperlink and are directed to another page, a Back to page button appears so you can return to your original location.
Viewer Default Buttons
Pin/Hide Sidebar
Click Hide Sidebar to collapse the left sidebar. Click Pin Sidebar to keep it open. When the sidebar is hidden, hovering over it will temporarily expand it.
💡 Press and hold the R key to toggle Pin/Hide Sidebar.
Take a tour
Click Take a tour in the sidebar to activate an overlay with step-by-step navigation instructions. Click Exit tour to close it.
FullScreen
Click FullScreen to enlarge the viewer. Click it again or press Esc to exit.
Zoom
Use the magnifier icon to zoom in (+) or out (-) on the page content.
Additional navigation buttons
Open in New Tab
Available only in the embedded viewer. Opens the publication in a new browser tab.
Article View
When articles are available on a page, the Article View button appears. Click it to read articles on the page. Click Back to Publication to exit article mode.
