Double opt-in requires a reader to confirm their email address before their subscription is activated. This prevents fake or mistyped emails from entering your subscriber list — only readers who are genuinely interested get through.
You can enable double opt-in when setting up a Free Subscription by checking Send a double opt-in confirmation email.
What readers see
The reader opens your publication and sees the Subscribe popup.
After entering their email and required info, they see a confirmation message.
The reader opens the confirmation email from Joomag and clicks the link to complete their subscription.
