Campaign statistics: Recipients

How to view and export the recipient details for your Joomag email campaigns.

Written by Justina Markovic

You can find detailed information about the recipients the campaign is sent to in the Recipients tab of campaign statistics.

1. To find the recipient information, follow the steps explained in the Get started with campaign statistics article.

2. Select the Recipients tab.

3. The Recipients tab consists of two sections:

  • Categories: Located on the left side.

  • Recipient list table: Shows the list of recipients for the selected category, located on the right side.

Categories

Note: One recipient can be listed in more than one category.

  • Sent: Your email has been sent to these contacts. Includes all contacts.

  • Delivering: Your email is currently being delivered to these contacts. For various reasons, the ISP might be temporarily refusing your email.
Note: This is referred to as a soft bounce. When a soft bounce occurs, we continuously retry delivery for 24 hours before giving up.

  • Delivered: Your email was delivered to these contacts.

  • Opened: Contacts who opened the email.

  • Clicked: The number of unique recipients who clicked on any link in your email, excluding the Unsubscribe link.

  • Bounced: These contacts were sent your email, but didn't receive it because either their address is invalid, your email hit their spam filter, or your email was marked as spam.
Note: Soft bounces occur when a contact's inbox has a temporary problem — you can still send to these people in the future. Contacts who hard bounce will be ineligible for later sends.

  • Unsubscribed: These contacts received your email and unsubscribed. They won't receive any messages in the future.

  • Spam reports: These contacts received your email and marked it as spam. They won't receive any messages in the future.

  • Not sent: These contacts didn't receive your email. This may be because they previously hard bounced, unsubscribed, or marked you as spam.

Recipient list table

Each category provides the following information:

  • Recipients: The recipients who fit into the category.

  • Action: The type of action that the recipient initiated.
Important: For Bounced and Not Sent categories, the Action column is replaced with a Reason column indicating why the recipient didn't receive the email.

4. Expand the recipient to learn about all the actions they initiated and their dates.

📣 If a contact has been deleted from the CRM, the recipient list shows: "Contact has been deleted" instead of their name and email.

5. Search contacts by entering the complete email address and pressing Enter.

6. Click the Action drop-down menu in the upper-right corner, then click Export to generate a CSV file.

The CSV file contains the following information:

  • Recipient: The email address of the recipient.

  • Subject: The email subject.

  • Sent At (Your time zone): The date and time when the email was sent to that specific recipient.

  • Not Sent Reason: The reason why the email wasn't sent to the user.

  • Bounce Type: If the email was bounced, indicates the bounce type: Hard bounce or Soft bounce.

  • Bounce Message: Bounce reason message received by SES.

  • Sent: 1 if sent; otherwise empty.

  • Delivered: 1 if delivered; otherwise empty.

  • Suppressed: 1 if suppressed; otherwise empty.

  • Dropped: 1 if dropped; otherwise empty.

  • Bounce: 1 if bounced; otherwise empty.

  • Spam Report: 1 if reported as spam; otherwise empty.

  • Opened: 1 if opened; otherwise empty.

  • Clicked: 1 if a link was clicked; otherwise empty.

  • Unsubscribed: 1 if opted out; otherwise empty.
