Layout types explained

An explanation of the Single Pages and Facing Pages layout types and when to use each.

When creating a publication from a PDF or from scratch, you must choose the publication layout type.

There are two options: Single Pages and Facing Pages.

Single Pages Layout

Displays one page at a time. Publications with Single Pages layout are always displayed in Sliding mode.

Facing Pages Layout

Displays two pages at a time facing each other, except for the cover and back pages.

Facing Pages layout is displayed in Sliding mode by default. The Flipping effect can also be enabled. Click here to learn how.
