With Joomag's analytics you receive detailed statistics on your Audience, Content, Reader Behavior, and Acquisition. This article covers what the Audience Overview contains.
To see the Audience Overview section:
1. Navigate to Analytics on the left sidebar.
2. Use the dropdown menu on the right to select the section. The Overview section is displayed by default.
3. Apply the main filters:
Enter the publication name for which you want to see the audience overview.
Specify the date range. The last seven days are shown by default.
Note: To check analytics for a specific reader from your CRM, enter their email address in the Reader field. You can also use filters and segmentation for in-depth analytical data.
Important: The advanced search feature in Analytics is available only for brand new plans. If your current plan does not support this feature, contact our Customer Success team for account migration assistance.
4. The chart below shows the number of readers who accessed your publication within the specified time range. Each dot represents a day — hover over dots to see how many readers viewed your publication that day. Use Week/Month buttons to view a broader period.
5. Scroll down to see statistics on new and returning readers.
Total readers: Readers who had at least one session within the specified time range. This forms 100%.
Returning Readers: Reader accounts created before the specified time range that viewed your publication after. Shows count and percentage of total.
New Readers: Accounts created during the specified period viewing your publication for the first time. Shows count and percentage of total.
6. Analyze the numbers of sessions, page views, average pages viewed, and average time spent.
Sessions: Total sessions initiated within the specified time frame.
Pageviews: Total pages viewed during the specified time frame. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
Page/Reader: Average number of pages viewed per reader.
Avg. Time Spent per Reader: Average session duration per reader in hh:mm:ss.
