Allow clipboard permissions for different browsers

How to allow clipboard permissions in Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Firefox for Joomag's Creative Studio.

Written by Justina Markovic

It is important to ensure that proper browser permissions are set when using actions like Cut, Copy, Paste, Paste in place, Paste and match style in the context menu to copy-paste elements within the Creative Studio.

In this guide, you will find the steps to allow Joomag to access your clipboard and paste content.

Simply select your browser from the list below, and follow the instructions:

Chrome

When you try to copy/paste or access the context menu, you should get a prompt like this.

To allow the clipboard access to see the copied text and images, click Allow:

If you have previously blocked access, you can re-allow access this way:

• Click on the Site Information button on your browser

• Turn the toggle on for Clipboard:

Edge

• Click the lock icon in the address bar

• Change the permissions for Joomag > Clipboard setting to Allow

Opera

• Click the lock icon in the address bar
• Change the permissions for Joomag > Clipboard setting to Allow

Firefox

Please note that the Cut, Copy, Paste, Paste in place, Paste and match style functions in the context menu do not work on the Firefox browser. However, you can still use the following shortcuts to copy and paste content:

For Mac users:

Cut ⌘X

Copy ⌘C

Paste ⌘V

Paste in place / Paste and match style ⇧⌘V

For Windows users:

Cut Ctrl + X

Copy Ctrl + C

Paste Ctrl + V

Paste in place / Paste and match style Ctrl + Shift + V
