Joomag's fully customizable forms let you collect information from readers and build a base of leads. Follow the steps to edit field settings:
1. Click the Forms button on the left sidebar.
2. Hover over an existing form and click Edit, or click Create New Form to create a new one.
3. In the Working Area, click the field you want to edit.
Note: To delete a field, hover over it and click X.
4. The Field Settings panel expands on the left side of the page.
The panel provides the following field properties:
Label: The field name. Changes apply only to this form; other forms retain their original labels.
Internal name: An automatically generated unique identifier for the field.
Placeholder: A short hint indicating the expected input value.
Help text: Additional guidance shown between the field name and input. Label and Help text both support bold, italic, underline, and link formatting.
5. Select the Mandatory checkbox to make the field required. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
6. Click Done when finished editing the field settings.
