Article View turns a publication into mobile-friendly article pages. Instead of pinching and zooming a PDF on a phone, your readers get clean, readable text.
Articles are built from a publication and always belong to one, so you start from the issue rather than from a blank page.
Finding Article View
Open the publication you want to work with and go to its settings. Article View is the ARTICLES tab, alongside Info, Viewer, Pages, Text-only, SEO, Forms, Price and Re-upload.
Click Create article to begin.
Creating an article
Give the article a title.
Check the slug. It forms the public URL and accepts lowercase letters, numbers and dashes only. Spaces and special characters are not allowed.
Under Select pages, choose which pages of the publication the article covers.
Click Create Article.
Building the content in Article Studio
Your article opens in Article Studio. The text sits on the left with the usual formatting tools, and Page Preview on the right shows how each block maps back to the original pages.
Grey means content not added.
Green means an exact match with the original.
Orange means partial, summarised or modified, so those blocks are worth reading through.
Styles, Brands and Uploads are in the left rail. Use Publish & View to see the article live, and Distribute to share it.
Managing your articles
The Articles tab in Article Studio lists every article for that publication, with the pages it covers and its status. Search by title to find one, or click + Add article to create another.
