The Reading progress section in Analytics shows how far readers get through your publications.
Navigate to Analytics on the left sidebar.
Use the dropdown on the right to select Behavior, then go to Reading Progress.
Apply the main filters:
Select the collection name.
Specify the date range (default: last 7 days).
Note: Enter a reader's email in the Reader field to filter for a specific person. You can also use filters and segmentation for in-depth data.
Analyze the chart:
Completed: Readers who viewed all pages of the publication.
Started: Readers who viewed at least one page but not all pages.
Review Avg. Completion Time and Avg. Completion Rate:
Avg. Completion Time: Average total time for readers who completed the entire publication.
Avg. Completion Rate: Average percentage of Completed/(Started + Completed) per publication.
Scroll down to choose dimensions. The Primary Dimension is Publication. Optionally add a Secondary Dimension.
Review reader progress metrics:
Readers: Readers with at least one session in the date range.
Started: Readers who viewed at least one page.
Started (%): Percentage of Started readers from all Readers.
Avg. Progress Rate: Average percentage of pages viewed per reader per publication.
Completed: Readers who viewed all pages.
Completed (%): Percentage of Completed readers from all Readers.
